u sure did on that my husband have sent passport the 29th march had 15 days and untile 2day no news  My visa was stamped in 4 days and returned in 5 days. My ppr letter didnt had any 15 days deadline as well. I guess i just got lucky in that case.

Congratz wishing both of u a very happy married life enjoy now and may we all see that happy day soon inshallah Just want to update you guys... Finally after almost 2 years of wait...my wife landed at Pearson, Airport on Sunday. Masha-A-Allah.
There were too many people on immigration queue and it took around 1 hour wait to sign Landing Papers.
The landing procedure took only 5-10 minutes, since my wife already prepared list of item and photos of jewellery from Pakistan so CBSA guys just put stamps on papers and made copies of photos for their records .
Thanks to everyone on this forum for all the help, support and guidance.
I will be checking forum on and off. If anyone needs any help don't hesitate to send me a private message .

Ella - as Danny bhai was saying earlier in the forum that husband cases take a bit longer than wife cases.. hopefully u will get the passport back very soon.. u sure did on that my husband have sent passport the 29th march had 15 days and untile 2day no news |

I did mention the appointment date in the email. I don't think they care about what written in CAIPS. They have their own way of doing things, which is laughable at times. Ah well.. InshaAllah soon they will realize their mistake on the BFD and call my wife.
InshaALLAH soon u'll get ur letter!!!My prayers r with u ! what do u think when they call us ...r we suppose to ask different questions from them or we should just answer their precise questions...Like I regret that... the girl who called me seemed so polite.. so should hv i told her some thing that my son is counting days to meet his father he is disturb . can u tell us that how many more days this process gonna take..The waiting time would be easy to pass if u tell us some time!What do u think danny bhai? |

They just called you to confirm if the medical was done or not as they might not have received the results the last time they checked it. Right now you know where you PPR is and I really hope that TCS guy gets well soon so he can deliver your PPR to you. I don't think that these people who make calls can do anything to speed up the process. In the end, Allah has a plan for everyone. Its just a matter of few days and InshaAllah you will be doing your last minute shopping for Canada very soon |

If the background check on your husband's case are over then you will get your hubby will get his passport back sooner than later. Did he get Re-med and PPR request together or Remedical first and then got his PPR request recently ? |

ohh no he did med on 22 feb sent receipt on 23 feb and then he got ppr on 26 march but was dated 20 march got caips note yesterday the only thing i see new is that they received imms forms saying relationship ok as per extra proof and the last thing is a note on the 17 march VIEDS: passed FCR ;please send PHEP If the background check on your husband's case are over then you will get your hubby will get his passport back sooner than later. Did he get Re-med and PPR request together or Remedical first and then got his PPR request recently ?

Ella, you will get your passport back soon inshallah. The letter my wife received it had FC1 written everywhere. So i told my wife ur passport will ne stamped in no time and i was right simply after embassy called my wife right after 19 days the process was over but dont rely on that every case is different. Lots of prayers and good luck could be a factor.

Today my wife cancelled her appointment with the DMP as we didn't get the Re-medical letter yet. Lets see when they wake up and realize their mistake. We sent 2 emails and 2 faxes in the past 3 weeks or so but no luck. I guess its in our destiny to wait a little more. InshaAllah good news will come soon for us.

mine is wife case, jan 2011 file transfer, so 15 months already and still didn't get any sort of letter. at least your husband got ppr, be thankful to allah |
