CanPak Brother, Can you email me a sample letter, like the one you sent them, I want to write one too. I had a 2 hour meeting with my local MP last month and he asked me to wait until APRIL 2012 until he contacts OTTAWA because he has a direct line with Immigration there. Normally my MP gets all my updates from OTTAWA not CHC ISB. I am not going to accept 6 more months, they are killing me and its insane. That will bring me over the timeline posted on the Immigration site which is 26 months. By the next six months I would be in my 30th month or so. We need to stick to each other to get somewhere with CHC ISB. What do you think?
Stupid MP of my wife's area is very unhelpful he doesn't even listen and say u have to wait that's all u can do we cannot help. |

Jaania, the letter I wrote was a summary of what we have done and committed we would do in responding to the objection letter that she received last year. We explained how we have fullfilled everything, such as ruhksati, as mentioned before in our application as well as how my wifes remedical is expiring in April 2012 for which we asked for some assistance to see her application finalized sooner in preventing a 3rd medical. My MP's office did say that our file is within the estimated timeline so they cant do anything, however I asked for assistance as other have had interviews cancelled and applications finalized before the expiration of their second medicals for which is why I am requesting help. |

My MP's office said to wait as well, but they will forward the letter and inquire as I stated other people had files completed with similar situations. Thats what they said, but if they really do it, I dont know. I tried to call but no one returned my call after I provided the letter. Going to go to her office next week, gave up on leaving messages. The people in our MP's office don't even call back after you leave a message. But when its time to vote, they will call non-stop. I feel sorry for the poor soul who asks me to vote for my MP because they will hear it big time from me. |

Its time to file your taxes, so I thought I should give you guys a few tips if you are working and paying your taxes. If you havn't added your spouse to your tax return then do it as soon as possible. Add your foreign spouse on your tax return. They will ask you to state your spouses total income for 2011 in Canadian dollars and submit a copy of your marriage certificate. So you should send a copy of translation of your Nikkah nama and a copy of your original Nikkah nama. Huge Benefit: If you include your spouse in your tax return, you will get a lot more return if your spouse isn't working abroad or working but has very little income in CAD. Talk to your accountant and work out the scenarios. Last year I included my spouse in my tax return and I got back a big chunk of the Fed & Provincial tax portion back. Thank me later  gud information!!!!!! +1 for u i got married last year (January 2011) but when i was filling my tax i didnt add him/changed my marital status..will there be any problem for last years tax? |

Wifey just met the assistant but some how she was able to speak to MP over the phone and his response was same that your case is under the defined time line so just wait. |
