Hey guyz i need some advice ......... Ive been sponsored by my husband on spouse visa in Aug 2010 . I got first letter from CHC on 10 dec 2011 requesting certain docs , proof of contact plus some wedding pics nd then i got another letter for re med on 17 dec . Ive sent them all requested docs on 2nd jan2012 thru TCS which is recieved by embassy on 3rd jan by some guy.Since then i got no response from their site . My online status shows two status above its written "in process" and below that its showing "application recieved". I ve been a silent reader here nd i am noticing that certain applicants with the similar timeline of mine already got their passport request .what should i do; should i write them  ?? |

You should send them an email asking them for the status on your case. They will tell you if they sent something recently or if your case is in queue to be reviewed. |

You can either: Send them an e-mail - Response timeframe: next hour to next month; OROrder GCMS notes - Response timeframe: four to six weeks. |

yeah email them it so much easier thats what i did i asked them about the status of my case and they said that background check are currently being conducted so it will give u an idea ..... or u can email ur mp and she will be able to contact them Hey guyz i need some advice ......... Thanks sis , congrats on ur medical & PPR , I filed on 18-aug and submitted documents on 7-jan-2012 , I think my wife would get letter pretty soon. The letter u recieved was through registered mail or TCS , and did u recieve any call from CIC Isb ?

I would say ............ same time line does not mean u will get everything done with them ............. but still there might be chances ur letter can get lost ..... so what u should do it write them email or contact through mp to get update on ur status .......... so that incase ur letter is lost u can request another copy of it ............ |

My wife did not receive a call ... but what was the call about if u can share ? thanks that's great help well he asked me y reception was not done i said because there was no point of doing reception if i end up staying at my parents place after reception then he said does ur husband owe a house in Pakistan i said no he said will he come to take u wd u once u get visa i said yes sure
he asked me final plan for reception i said once i get my visa my parents will arrange a fare well reception for me n then a grand reception will take place in canada because his whole family his parents his sister aunts uncle lives in canada
he said what if u dont get visa i said we will appeal because our case is genuine and i also told him that i m not expecting a refusal
he also told me that he is looking at my additional documents at the time he called me n he said that i have sent lot of documents
n i did send alot of proofs that even my husband n family said that i m crazy
well i m just hoping that he gets satisfied n sends me remed and ppr imshallah |
