Once you get permanent residency, when can u sponsor ur parents? also for supervisa they r to show ties to home country, which should be? any examples how long does it take?

I had a look at your time line and have noticed you, mentioning expected date of your Re-Medical and Documents request. I am just curious to know, Have you gone through CAIPS or just random guess by looking at members experience?

There is no time limit in order to apply for the parents but if you sponsor them the immigration wants to know the couple's income and husband & wife both have to sign the documents. One time I had accompanied a couple to the immigration office in Mississauga where husband wanted to sponsored his parents and the wife was reluctant, The immigration officer checked both of their income and approved the application but at the time when the wife had to sign the documents she walked out on him and he could not sponsored his perents wothout her approval. Also depends on how many people would be included in the application sometime sponsor has young sibling who could be included in the application as well. again depends on the income if someone qualifies. NO brother there is no such thing about medical or documents on my case my file was transferred august 2011 i ordered CGMS notes there was a due date on them which was in october DONT KNOW WHAT IT MEANS @ Khalifah 5

GOOGLE it up gurl go to google then type in cic, then press enter, then go to CIC's website and search for documents checklist for TRV.... AS SIMPLE AS THAT |

Congrats. My wife's file was received in ISL on exact same date as Maham Noor. Unfortunately, we are still waiting for PPR but have already gone through re-med, re-PCC, IMM etc. |

I haven't been following this forum for over year.... as I just recently came home after spending year in Pakistan with my husband. Soon as I come back my husband receive call from Islamabad for interview... I think they were waiting for me to leave country before contacting my husband. Anyway my husband went for interview basically the officer scrutinzed him about his educational and work history. Very little question were asked regarding our marriage. Anyway just wondering if anyone else spouse has recently gone for interview and whether they have received any further communication on how long it will take them to make there finally decision and request passport for VISA.
Timeline - Husband Case
June 4 2010 min. requirment meet file transferred to Islamabad
July 22, 2010 - online showing that Islamabad has started to process file
Aug. 9, 2010 - Supplementary info form plus photos & proof of communication forward to Embassy.
Nov. 9, 2010 - Email request sent to Embassy inquiring about my current status
Nov. 16, 2010 - rec'd email form Embassy application in process & in queue to be reviewed.
Jan. 25, 2011 - sent 2nd email inquirying about my current status. Rec'd reply back same day that "Your application is currently in process and is in queue for initial review."
Aug. 2011 - received 2nd Medical request and complete Supplementary info again.
Feb. 24, 2012 - received call for Interview March , 2012
March , 2012 - went for interview --- waiting for response.

I heard when they send remed+ppr they take long but when they send ppr only so they take less time is it true?
it depends my husband got both at the same time and his pp back exactly after a month with visa |
