Hi I'm new to this thread and have been reading a lot about providing voluntary proof to CHC Islamabad. My application was recieved by them in March 2011 and its almost about a year since its disappeared into the blackhole.
I've got additional proof that I could send but my only concern is that if I send it now will it delay my case since its almost been a year that my file has been with CHC Islamabad.
Do you think I should wait for the letter or send the additional proof anyways?

Hey Ray CONGRAT's again  well dont worry about bank statment they r asking u to provide that may b bz she havent submitted the bank statment when she sponsored u at the very first place its nothing to do with EI.......just ask her to send a recent bank statment.....it doesnt matter to have a big fund showing. hay Sawera tell me about your hubby does he got the same latter or still you guys are waiting |

welcome to the board, any mail you send takes anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks to be documented on your file, your file is about to be opened since you are in your 12th month, I wont suggest to send anything at this point, let them do initial review and allow them to request, have your documentation ready anyways |

OMG, the address thing is confusing, ma address has disappeared 5 weeks n half now n still nothing n they are not replying to emails at all....  Hope ma hubby gets good news soon Ameen. They must be doing his background checks.... who knows i am just guessing. Everything will be fine, InshAllah! |

Allah ka laaakh laaakh shukar hai.. ALHAMD-O-LILLAH my wife finally got her passport back with VISA thru tcs, they charge RS 1250 and they sent back 2 big bags of supporting docs which we sent to them- My wife sent her passport on 7th Feb and received at CHS-ISL on 8th Feb
I really hope and pray that everybody gets united with their spouses ASAP !!
Thanks everyone for year long support and guidance. I will be here and will try to help out to the best of my knowledge.

Thank u im guessing that too since, i havent seen anyones address disappear for that long except one or two people.... but still coz its the 14th month for me since file been in CHC n im thinking positive that they are doing back ground check... n im hoping of ma hubby jus gettin remed n PPR lol Allah (swt) Is Great and I am sure we will all hear good news soon Ameen. |

Thanks PIA is safe but mostly 30 mins late or so which isn't a big deal. The advantage is see with taking PIA is Direct flight and two 28 KG suitcases instead of 23KGs. Also an extra baggage of 28 KG costs around an additional 10,000 RS which isn't too bad. The downside is the typical desi environment which includes people walking in the plane like they are walking in a park. |
