first time it took 45 to 50 days
this time 30 days

mrs zawar, you can send an e-mail to CHC - Islamabad and ask for the File Number. Sample template is printed below (I am assuming that you are the applicant here) :


Client ID: XXXXXXXXX
Sponsor's Full Name: (First, Last)
Sponsor's DOB: (Month/Day/Year)
Sponsor's Address: XXXXXXXX
Sponsor's Phone #: XXXXXXXXXX

Applicant's Full Name: (First, Last)
Applicant's DOB: (Month/Day/Year)
Applicant's Passport#: XXXXXXXXX (This can be omitted, I didn't send the Passport #)

Dear Immigration Officer,

With reference to above mentioned Client ID, I have been sponsored by my wife/husband dated (Month/Day/Year) and sponsorship was approved dated (Month/Day/Year) and file was transferred to Islamabad dated (Month/Day/Year).

I have not received any letter of acknowledgment regarding my application from your side. Please provide me with my Immigration File #.

If you file your request via post office, then you do not receive an acknowledgment. Expect anywhere from four to six weeks for you to receive the CAIPS/GCMS notes.

Not sure what the acknowledgment process is in a case where you submit the request via e-mail... perhaps others can shed some light on this

i received re-pcc on dec 12 as it as mailed by regular mail on dec08.remedical by tcs on dec 15.it is not necessary that u get remed and repcc same time,cuz i have have most ppl are getting remedical and ppr togther.

I also re-applied for caips, mailed out on Jan 16.  Hope to receive soon via email.

I applied for caips in september 2011 and it stated application placed in queue.
