Salam All, Thanks for your well wishes. I will remember all of you in my prayers. For all of those who asked if there was anything unusual about my case the answer is NO. It was a simple straight forward case but still it took me almost 28 months to get my visa. One thing that I did to make things easier for CIC was that I applied for immigration almost 2 years after getting married. The only thing that might be unusual for CIC was that got married at a very early age (23) and that I lived all my life in Middle East and then moved to USA for studies and work. I even had a valid H1-B visa when I applied for Canadian immigration and this was one of the questions they did ask me in my security interview that why is it that you did not move to USA. All in all in was a lengthy process but ALL IS WELL THAT ENDS WELL, so just hang on and keep on praying One strange thing that I noticed is that my online case status still shows “In process” but I already have my visa stamped and my passport in my hand . |
