Its got to be relationship not genuine concern. Why didn't he go through with the Immigration back then? Do you have any kids together? They probably want to know why the case was closed back then and why didn't you sponsor him right after you got married, unless i am not getting the whole picture. How long have you been in Canada ?
yup we do have 3 kids together and all proof of us when we were engaged (for 2 yrs), marriage was done here and valima was done in pak......pictures of us together in pak... and i have traveled back and forth for 4 years since then most of the time when i go i stay for about 10 months...and the only reason he closed his case here was because he wanted to visit home to his mom who was critiliy ill and thus wanted me to sponser him later on so he doesnt leave her side...but he has his clearance done for states and canada already, which was requested last yr |

I am not sure why they are taking so long. Maybe they are doing it delibrately. Did you try getting your MP involved in it as its been over 2 years?
yea i have keep in contact with my mp and when i called she told me to wait til august as it would end my 24 months of processing time (even though i should be considered under the 9 months) but then dont apply that on us...so when i called after she was like no news from them so call end of sept....so i will Inshallah call em tomm as i was told to and see wats the news...hopefuly something goood... |

Hey guys, So i received an email from the embassy. it says our case is in que for review by an immigartion officer  How long does it generally for this step to get over? Thank you I also got the same response today from the embassy, that our case is in que for review by an immigration officer, and we will receive a response letter in upcoming weeks. So lets hope they send a re-medical and PCC response letter within 2 to 3 weeks, and further 2 to 3 months to issue PPR. |

In my experience, it doesn't make any difference if you are working with the Federal Government or not. I work with the Federal Government by myself and my wife's file has been in Islamabad since December 2010 and there is no any progress. Only one difference I can see, they always answer my email whenever I sent them from my official email address. I guess if someone would be working with the immigration department then may be situation would be different.
