Your medical is expired since last 10 years as it was done in 2001 Smiley . However if you meant 2011 then u dont need to worry as u r almost through and there are very very rare next to none chance that u get interview at this stage. Good Luck

Dear all Seniors,

We have done our medical in July 2011, I need your help in understanding following reply,

1. "Medical result remains outstanding of you Spouse could be with medical section for review"

====> What does that means ?

2. " Your application is undergoing routine Background Checks, we cant say anything, when these will be received "

====> What does that means ?

Please reply i will be grateful.

AOA, Hi.......your this line made me to reply to this forum again:-)

Me and one of the forum member Mr. Atif is in contact here in Saskatoon city......let me also share my experience with you guys.

I am here in Saskatoon city and its 3000 KM away from Toronto and i have also settled from Toronto to Saskatoon because i thought that i never listened the name of Saskatoon city and thought that there would be very less desi people but Saskatoon is also full of desi people and people are moving here just to sponsor their family for free. Saskatoon is like villege if we compare it with the toranto, hamilton and missaugae cities but this city is getting very expensive and the rent has got doubled in just last 2 years.

I am currently doing job in WALLMART super store and the i am one of the 350 associates of this store, i am hired as "CUSTOMER SERVICES SPECIALIST". Let me share how i got selected for this job. I applied this job through website and after one week i got a telephonic call for interview, its was an interview for half an hour and she asked me so many questions related to customer services, how would u deal a aggresive customer? if u dont know anything about the customer quesires than how are you doing to help this customer? if a employee is not doing the job as harder as other do then what would be your response in this regard? etc etc........then they called me for group interview after two days, there were 12 candidates and only me and other guy were desi and from Pakistan. They asked so many questions and also asked us to do a demo for selling a product to teenager customer and there were almost 7 management people who were taking interview of all of us and one by one they were asking so many questions. Luckily i was selected for job and than they started 2 days orientation for selected candidates. We have safety training, and so many training for 3 days and than we had to clear the test with 80 marks otherwise you wont be selected. I was offered 10.25 per hour job and after so many interview and formalities. I never had this kinds of interview, trainings, orientations and quizes in my four years of banking job in Pakistan:-)

After all its a kind of customer services jobs and covers labor jobs like opening boxes, shelfing stockes etc.........people say that two years ago there was not any people in the Saskatoon and there was not any  interview for getting this kind of jobs in saskatoon but now there are so many people and because the employers have so many options to recruit people thats why they started such recruitment process for even labor job.

Our desi people are doing such jobs here and one of the famous jobs among desi are security guard jobs. There are few people who have good office jobs and they are lucky.

Everyone here suggests me that you are not that old enough (27 YEARS) and not even married and you have opportunity to study here and only Canadian degree can get you very good job and you will enjoy here once you get MBA from here.................I just started searching for getting addmission in MBA but when i came to know the requirements of canadian universities than i came to know that why the people prefer UK or Australia than Canada..jsut because of their requirements........70 average marks in your last two years of education, IELTS 6.5 (in UK and australia they require 6.0 score for addmission) GMAR score 600 (Majority of universities in UK and Australia dont require GMAT) ............:-) its tough to get addmission in MBA here but if you MBA from here than you will have very good jobs because the goray people they usually dont study after 12 grade or the ratio is very less and ususlly you will see chinese people in universities of Canada....

Those who are planning to come canada please get IELTS with 6.5 score and GMAT with 600 score if they want to study here..............i would say even we are doing odd jobs or whatever we say it but when we see the exchange rate of our PKR & CAD its gives you so much motivation to live in Canada. I would say that Canada is very good country, people are very very nice here (GORAY) and as per my experience here in Canada, i am having to say that these GORAY people are quite supportive than our Pakistani bhai.....our Pakistani people here are same as they were in Pakistan and didn't learn anything from GORAY after living so many years in Canada.....i had worst experience with our Pakistani people here in Canada and i would say that the GORAY people are thousand time better than our Pakistani bhai, the way they treat the newcomer and do not even consider that these are our Pakistani bhai.

Who ever is planning to come Canada...........just start searching for upgrading their education from Canada as they land as immigrants and if they want to do good jobs. Do IELTS & GMAT before coming to Canada and also if you can arrange money for completing these course because the scenario is now changed, you are not going to get any student loan before one or two years........

I would say that whatever jobs we do in Canada and we say it odd job but it is the pure "HALAL KAMAI and Khoon paseenay ki kamai:-) or is hi leyai yahan ki kamai mai BARKAT hay and this is you also going to realize:-)
