rana bhai i faled to understand that why u rely so much on ur consultant. i v already requested u to not rely on these people. For them any mistake on ther part is nothing. i m sure u wll be good wth ths mistake but pls for future do not depend too much on these people
Dear PK09! I sent them correct filled in forms but a low level employee filled the same and he did mistake in one date of birth. I have shown them much anger and now they have sent corretion letter too. |

Sir,
You should make draft in Canadian Dollar, obviously it will be drawn in any Canadian Bank in Canada. You will also open account in Canada in Canadian Dollar, so you will save conversion cost in Canada. As for as Demand Draft preparation cost is concerned in Pakistan, so you will have to bear conversion cost (Either from US$ to Canadian Dollar or Pound Sterling to Canadian Dollar or Euro to Canadian Dollar). You should searh any friend who is maintaining Foreign Currency account, in this way you will get help in preparing the said draft. Mostly people open F.C A/c in U.S. Dollar which is easily available in market. Any Banker will arrange dollar for you which will be used in your draft.

One Pakistani citizen is allowed to carry US$10,000/- only and Pak Rs.3000/- in cash while traveling abroad as per State Bank of Pakistan rules. |

If anyone wants to take more than $10,000 to Canada. How can he take the money? Are there any restrictions by Customs at Karachi Airport? If so, is there any other way to take he money?

Any foreign currency equilent to US$ 10000/- not CAD 10000/-. Anyhow there is no big more difference in the exchange rates of US$ and CAD and it seems ok if you and your mrs. take CAD 10000 each. |

The limit of US$ 10000 each person is of carrying cash only. By way of any negotiable instrument like DD, Travel Cheque, Pay order etc.. there is no restriction. |
