Hi there,

Can anyone tell me whether once a simplified application form has been received by the embassy, is it possible for us to change who the principal applicant is?

We have sent an email to the embassy asking this question but thought we'd see if anyone on the forum might have any idea.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts

Seems like that would be a deal breaker.  I think you have to re-file the application if you change the primary applicant.

Changing application after submission will simply mean changing the goal post while a match is in progress. You can withdraw/discontinue the application and re-apply. You should forget the processing fee as it is not refundable also will have to go and queue. If you meet all requirement why change the application?
I wish you luck
