Dear Forum Members,

I applied for PR under FSW1 in July 2008 . I applied under NOC 0611 ( Marketing Manager) . But after publication of 38 Jobs my NOC was no longer on  the list .

Undoubtedly , they will refuse my application but my duties are somewhat similar to Accomodation Service Manager with NOC 0632 and this one is among 38 jobs publised by CIC in Nov 2008.

Now my question is if I put NOC change request to 0632 . Is there any chances of approval of my application.

I know that it is difficlut question to answer anybody beacuse CIC Officres can take the  decision but please share your valauble thoughts.

Thanks

Just answer this question for yourself first. Have you got to lose anything?

Hi.

I have a same situation too. I applied for PR FSW1 in 1ugust 2008 under NOC 2172 and 2171. but then i saw that my claimed NOC isn't in the list, and i am sure that my case will be rejected.

But i had experiences in NOC 0213 as an team leader in IT and also an IT manager before sending my application. But why i didn't mention anything about these experiences? Because we (my friends and me) thought canada just need technical persons not managers! and this was my big mistake.

Now i want to apply a new application and mention my manager experiences under noc=0213, before and also after my previouse application. But i am afraid that officer think that i am lying!;(.

A lawyer tell me that because of my case, it is better if i just claim NOC=0213 for period after my previous application and didn't mention anything about noc=0213 before that.

But, just 10 minutes before I called www.visacanada.com and consult them. They told me that there is no cause to reject your claim just because of your previous application if you can provide sufficient evidence about your claims.

what do you think? what can we do?
