changing my status from labour to semiskilled worker, how????

hi there im a 22 years old foreign worker from mexico, i've work in the same company for 9 months ,  receiving training in h2s alive, first aid, fork lift, whmis, and pst, (oil industry required training) we work reparing equipment and renting it to the rigs, etc, i came in status of labour but now with all the training that ive received i want to change it to semiskilled worker looking forward to get my permanent rescidence,

my doubt is what kind tramit do i have to do for make this possible?
i will really appreciate help with this
