Dear Members,

I have sent my application to the CIC ten days back. I have one year experience as a cook and have more than 70 points in total. Currently i am working as a duty manager in a hotel for the past 8 months here in the uk. Due to personal reasons i need to change my current job. i will be taking up an employment in a store as a store manager. is it okay to go ahead?? My visa office is london.

Do i need to inform the CIC or the VO regarding the change? Please advise.

many thanks

Applied in the NOC of a cook?
If u have edn in F&B Production it should be Ok. If not, just a yr's exp @ kitchen might not convince your VO. Over that if u change your vocation completely [from a hotel's job to a store manager's] it might raise some red-flags. I'm no expert - thus, my opinion could be flawed.

Nonetheless, u r required to update your VO about any changes in profile stats asap.
