Dear Qorax,

You have always given good solutions to everyone, salute to you. Again I have a question. I hope you know my case history. I told you few weeks back that after passport submission CHC asked us to send more picture and wedding film, we submitted then they asked for PCC and remedical (because our medical had expired), we also have done with it.

Currency of my country (Pakistan) is depreciating rapidly and this is the matter of concern for me because I have shown Bank Statement to CHC in local currency. Now it's becoming quite difficult to maintain amount equivalent to 13801 canadian dollars ( for two persons) in local currency. I am thinking to open another bank account in US dollars and keep amount equivalent to 13801 CAD becuase variation in CAD and USD is less compare to our local currency. Please tell me would it be wise to open a new bank account although it will be in same bank at this stage when we also have gone through remedical? Can it delay or complicate our case? If there is no harm then I am thinking that when CHC will send PPR and I will mention both accounts ( old and new) and will explain reason in covering letter. Kindly share your views on this issue.

With best regards,

thanks for your reply, USD because no bank in Pakistan deals with CAD except HSBC and it's requirement for account opening is greater than my proof of funds  Wink

Hi , Chances are very rare that CHC will ask you to re submit your bank statement again. But if so, then no worries AT ALL.
You will have to send them both (PRupee/USD) account statements. As a proof that the new USD a/c fund is of yours only.
Just a transfer from one a/c to another.

Cheers..

but banks in pakistan don't do currency exchange, i have to take out my money from my local currency account then have to go to some money exchanger to convert into USDs and put into my USD account. so there will be no proof of online transaction.  Sad

With best regards,

Somehow u r hell bent on complicating your issues... U already had enough of problems ! Keep it as it is... it's only a matter of few months now... a couple of Rs. here or there isn't going to harm u as much as queries from the VO would, if any.
