If you or your spouse has filed an immigration application already some time ago, any updates made on the form by CIC after the submission will not affect you.  The guide very clearly explains each step for the preparation and submission of application. Therefore don't bother about the changes in the application if any.

In case, the visa office need any additional information or documents from you, you will get a request letter.
