Hello!
I just sent off my paperwork for sponsoring my husband. After sending it off I changed jobs. I am debating if I should update them now, or wait a few weeks. I don't start my new job until Tuesday, and I don't want to delay my paperwork in Mississauga........... I of course will update them, but I am just wondering if I can wait until I have been approved for sponsorship before I do this? Or will they likely call my old employer? Hopefully I make sense, its 4:30am so I might just be blabbing.

hi Katie,
maybe it's good to update them if u got ur file number, but better call CIC and see what they advise u too; if they started already processing ur file or it's very close to start, ur updates might arrive after they finish so it won't matter....u could update it later, together with other documents/relationship proofs...not sure if they call the employer...
finally u submitted....hope us too sooon
