Your consultant is telling you lies. He is a fraud No 1. Kick him out.
You can change ur job but u need to intimate CHC .
Ask ur lawyer what will happen if u had lost ur job in current recession period?

Hi,

Your inbox is full.

I don't see any reason why having a new employer will have an adverse effect on your application for PR. Are you applying under CEC? You have completed your required two years experience and you are here legally under a new work permit. You need not even be employed while waiting for the result just maintain a valid status, so why would having a new employer adversely affect your application? The important thing is you have the required two years work experience under a skilled work category, and you had passed evidence of language proficiency.

Hey jits1000,
What shibuya said is absolutely correct.
Your consultant is lying to you.
There is nothing that you cannot change your job in anytime of your application processing period with CIO or CHC.
You only need to inform them about the change.
No need to worry about this
Hope this helps

plz give us a favour-----sack ur lawyer/ consultant or whoever u have hired to advise u for immigrating to Canada.

even if u r unemployed after u have applied, it doesn't matter. the employment status u have put in the initial application, it's valid & it's locked to that date. if u have any update, for example, in the application u wrote ur employment date: 09/10/2007 till now. if u lose/leave/ change ur job, all u have to do, is to inform local CHC that u no longer work for the same company. and as long as in the application u have shown that u r/were working in one of the 38 job's list & it was for 1 year full time/ equivalent full time & it happened in the last 10 years, u r fine & dry

i am not an expert but i think the above are the facts. hope it helps.

No issues go ahead..

When i Applied at Nova Scotia i was employed, when my file no comes & period of 120 days started, i was out of job.... But I got Visa.

Kick your Consultant.... He saving his effort of sending the updations to CHC.

Changing your job won't and cannot change the past and present. CHC is concerned about the changes happening in present and past. So if you change your job it will not make your case disqualified.
