I am going to submit my PR application under LCP soon.
The first year, I got here , my first employer doesn't want me to work for her, cos she got another nanny. then, I spent a few months to find a new employer, another 5 months to get my new WP... almost 1 year. I didn't work.
Now it's my 3rd year. Thank God. I will complete my 3900 hours soon.
Anyway, My question is, Will it effect my PR application because I changed employer and didn't work in my first year?
Is anyone in the same situation as me??? Do I need to write a cover letter with my application to explain that?
Thanks everyone...

No, as long as you finished the required number of months or hours within 4 years. I am going to submit my PR application under LCP soon.

Thank you, wsongco. Yes, I completed the 3900 hours on my 2nd employer... I like to submit with Option 2....3900 hours. Which option do you choose? Do you write any cover letter and send with your PR application?

oh! it's good to read forum like this because u learn a lot. Same here, before, i was so afraid because a friend told me that there is a maximum number of employer in ur 3 years time( before that April 2010) and i was in my second employer and she's dying. But i was able to clarify that here, as long as u have valid WP, u can work with any employer. I will finally finish my 3900 hours in july and this is my 3rd employer now and would like to look for a new one, but i think i have to wait after july. Just question though, in ROE, they dont put the overtime hours in there, they just put the total number of hours worked, so how will they know about the total numbers of overtime hours? because they only stated a maximum of 390 hours? Thanks!

Thanks! you cannot work with another employer...you have to apply for a new LMO and work permit. with regards to ROE..you can request you previous employer to provide you a details of total numbers of hours work and overtime thru pay slips or pay stubs.
