My application to sponsor my common-law partner was received in Mississuaga 19 Dec.
I have applied from New Zealand, the processing office is Sydney Australia.
We've booked flights to return to Ireland in May 2012 and am wondering if the visa is not processed by the time we leave New Zealand, what happens with the application if our country of residence changes to Ireland?
If I inform them of an address change will this mean the visa processing office will change?
I'm hoping the visa will be processed and passport received back by at least the beginning of May, fingers crossed!

You should notify CIC of your address change if you move before you receive PPR. However it's unlikely they will change the processing office. This means that you will have to send your passport to Sydney once they are ready to issue the visa.
