Change of status

Hi fellow members, i am just confused on what am i going to do. I already received a request for full application from the Minister of Citizenship. Since i'll be getting married this month, I know that I need to update them of my status. I am planning to use my husband's last name in the application form and i'll just put my maiden name in the "other names you have been using box". Is it ok if my current name will not match my name in the passport?
Or i really need to update my passport and NBI clearance (police clearance)? Also, what are the other docs that i need to update? I am worried because I have limited time to do update those legal docs.
