Change of name

Hi I fear one of my cousin has miss used my details (birth certificate which i still doubt) and applyed for the asylum in canada. Now he has got his canadian passport. When i enquired about this with the canadian embassy without revealing any of my details they asked me to send a written complain with my passport copy. They warned me that i wont be able to travel canada and U.S until this problem is been resolved.

If my cousin has done this and they find it out will i have any problems in future (black list my name and so on).

I'm bit worried to giva a formal complain if they are going to take any action against me!!!!

Please help me out with this.
