i got study visa of canada for 2012 january intake in centennial college my course is electromechanical engineering & technology in automation & robotics ... now when i am in canada i want to change my college from centennial to sheridan in the winter term if available or if not then in summer or fall session ...whichever would be available.
Now the thing is that if i change my college just after arriving in canada will there be any kind of problems in getting work permit after completion of my study or in getting permanent residence.... kindly reply as early as you can

You can change your school/course-The problems you have mentioned above doesnt apply in the event you do

If no course available in winter 2012-Thats upto you now to weigh your position very well-Remember other students are also applying and also what the course has only 2 intake anually what shall you do.

Pple change course but with a lot of calculations and considerations-

 @ Jagjeet

I'm going for May'12 intake and planning to do something like you only. You got Visa for Jan'12 so you will be there next month. So, please keep updated this thread so that new comers like me can get the right information.

Hi,

1. You need to notify CPC-Vegreville, Alberta ONLY IF you change your study program from secondary to post secondary or post secondary to secondary level.

2. To notify, you need to fill out "Application to Change Conditions, Extend My Stay, or Remain in Canada [IMM 1249]"
