I need to change my mailing address on my application.  I am at visa office stage at this moment. Who do I send new address vrequest, visa office or CIC Sydney or both?  Do I e-mail., fax or regular mail this request ?  Please advise.

hi roger

if u have to submit ur full app then u can update in the same. if u have already submitted the full app then write a letter to local visa office and inform them about ur new address.

regards.

Bro,

It is understood that u have now recd ur File No. already. The easiest & safest way to communicate with CHC / CIC is thru the 'web form' at the CIC website.

For which, click 'search'... click 'CIC offices'... select ur CHC... click 'email'... selct 'general enquiry' or 'case specific enquiry'... click 'web form'... go for it !!!

Hope that helps.

Thank you for suggestions.  Do I have to send a signed letter, or e-mail will be enough?

Bro, bro, bro...

The email suffices. U'll also get a CGI mail back that ur query has been submitted to CIC/CHC. That's done for u, for sure.

It's a paperless world now-a-days, right ?

Regards.

  Hi Roger55,
I also had the same problem of change of address. I have written to my visa office a letter informing them about my change  of address , but it has not been changed online and they did not reply my mail.  So i am confused of what to do?  Did they  r eply your mail?

Please let me know.

I got an automated reply form the CIC e-mail system saying that they would deliver my e-mail to my visa office,  but I have not recieved any response from my visa office.  I sent it today and do not know how much time they take to reply.
