Change of address for CEC before AOR/File number

Hi,
Is it possible to change postal and email address after sending application and before receiving an acknowledgment?
I have applied for CEC on 7th dec 2011

Usually, it's easier to update a file if there is a file number associated with it. You receive the file number with your AOR.

But I remember sending a case specific enquiry to the CPC requesting an update on my file even before I received my file number. I gave them y full name DOB, client ID number, and my passport number.

But honestly it's a hit or miss. I checked my gcms notes yesterday... Turns out the change of address request that I sent them in September wasn't updated on the file... I sent an email to buffalo. Later, on jan 10, I sent a case specific enquiry ...they made t changes then.
