I came to Canada with my husband. He had a work permit and I got a visitor visa. I got work permit by spousal referral program. Now my husbad has to go back to India. Can I stay and continue working till my WP expires or can I apply for work permit within Canada.

It's urgent

Thanks in advance

Once your spouse departs, your work permit is not longer valid.  So to continue to work, you would have to get an employer to obtain an LMO and then apply for another work permit.

One more query, can I apply for the new work permit or PR from Canada or I need to go to India to change visa status. I have been in Quebec for last 10 months only.
