Change in Application status from In Process to Application Received

Hi,

I am writing from Guyana. My application was made in AUgust 2007 under the Skilled Worker section. Shortly after my application status became "In Process". However I noticed it has now changed to "Application Received". I am not sure how long ago that was changed. I do not see any explanation for this status.

I have not received any document from the embassy since my acknowledgement letter and another letter about a year later asking if I was still interested. If I wasn't my fees would be refunded. If I was still interested I should not respond to the letter. Since I was, I didnt respond and to date no other corespodnence has been received. As such I would appreciate if someone can advise what this status means?

Hi, glad to see another guyanese on this forum.... I am also in the same boat as you. I have applied since November 2007 and have gotten the same reply as yours. Now the processing time is 53 months and I have notices every quarter, so I am checking the cic site constantly to see how many months more they will increase it by.My spouse has his entire family residing Canada.
