Change employers with PR in process - PMM please help!!!

I am currently working in Canada under a Work Permit in the name of my current employer. I have an offer from a prospective employer ready to hire me. My PR application is still under process and I have completed my medicals and awaiting further steps.

Is there a way in which I can change employers by getting any implied status and open work permit till the time my PR application is not finalised?

Only if you get a new LMO from the employer and then a new work permit.  You are not eligible for an OWP.
