thank you. supposing i have worked with my previous employer 5 months, would this still be counted or add up to the 2 years required for the live-in caregiver program to be able to apply for permanent residency?

Yes, it doesn't say you have to stay with the same employer the whole time.

i am a live in caregiver. i have worked for 5months now with my current employer who sponsored me to come here. at first i was happy working with them until recently. i gave my 2 weeks notice but they said i signed a 1 month notice in our contract with or without cause. i feel i cant finish that 1 month. and when i do quit, can they send me back to my country? or have me deported since they are my sponsor?

No,You are in canada,Look for a new employer,But follow your contract or face the penalties stated there. But you cannot be deported for changing employer.
