I had applied for Canadian immigration from Austria (Vienna) in July 2006 when i was working their for UN. In July 2007 i have moved to USA for my new job and now i am working in USA.After that i sent e-mail to Canadian embassy to change my correspondence address. They did , now i have seen my new address is reflecting on online status and my application status is showing in -Process.
My concern is that in this situation
1. do they are going to transfer my file to USA them self or i have to  request them to transfer my file since now i am going to work USA for long period.
2.In other situation if they will asked me to attend interview in Austria, can i eligible to go Vienna for interview i mean will they issue visiting visa..for interview

I would be highly apriciate if some one give me valuable suggestion in this situation.

Regards,

You need to do more than just change your address online.  You need to send them a copy of your visa for the U.S. that entitles you to stay for at least one year.  If you send that, you can also request that your file be transferred to Buffalo.

You also need to inform them that you'd like the interview to take place in the U.S.

It is unlikely that the file would be transferred unless it is "for the integrity of the program".  If the application remains in Vienna, then the interview will be in Vienna.

Ok.  But it sounds like he's moved to the U.S.  Wouldn't the "integrity of the program" be better maintained with Buffalo processing the case?

Buffalo rarely transfers or accepts transfer of files.  As a lot of Indian H1s in the US have found to their chagrin when they return to India and are unable to attend an interview in the US, resulting in a refusal.  This is especially true if the applicant is a non US resident.
