Hello,
I just submitted my application on early Oct 2011. I used my gmail as contact email and my working address as contact address in the application. However, recently my gmail was hacked and I am not sure that I keep working for my current place for long. Thus, I would like to contact the CIC to change my contact email address  and mailing address. It has not been 6 weeks since the time I submitted my application yet (my credit card has not been charged). I am not sure that I can I contact them to change my email address and mailing address (I read from their website something like I should not contact them if the application submitted less than 6 wks).
In addition, I am not sure if it is ok if I contact them from an new email address (different from the one I put in the application because this one has been hacked).
Hope that some of you here have experience on this and can help me out. Thank you so much.

It is better to give a change of address ( e-mail, postal, telephone and fax ) after getting your AOR.

He is saying his email address is hacked, which email address he will receive his AOR as you are saying to change it after getting AOR,

mdwantcan, you send an email to CIO about the changes you dont have a choice other than sending email from new email address.

Hi sho78, I saw that too.
If Visa office find that their e mail is returned undelivered, they use the alternate postal address.
mdwantcan gave the work address as his contact mailing address by post.

Try contacting gmail help as soon as possible....change password etc...Rectify your email addy, can be done pretty easily...

Also run some Anti-Virus software on your PC/Laptop...

In your case better go for a clean Windows install.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS logging in to your IMPORTANT email account on a Public PC or Friends PC etc.

ALWAYS CLICK Log Off when done with the email and close the browser, when you have to check at someone's else's PC.
