Would anyone know if embassy would issue visa during christmas period? I know they are closed for christmas and new years..but the days in-between when they are meant to be open?
Would they issue visas or are we put on hold until the new years? I'm asking because my medical is expiring end of this month and I'm wondering if they would issue or put it on hold? If Visa officers are togo on holidays would that effect our file or would other officers keep processing?

The difficulty is not just that the offices are closed, but there is not much of a postal service during that time either.

Great question.  I would like to know the answer to that also.

It is not being "put on hold", it is more along the lines of, not much will be processed Smiley
