Hello All

One of my friend is applying PR through arranged employment option (Youkon Provincial Nomination Program). So he has a question now, he is offered with a job in Youkon and he would like to know how easy is it to move into another province after landing in Youkon like its leagal factors.

All answers are most welcome.

Thanks, Sans_May2010

You better tell him to read the following Operational Bulletin.  http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2010/ob251.asp

Is anyone in Youkon can explain the living and working in the province are appreciated.

Just trying to gather some info for my friend heading into Youkon province.

All responses are welcome good or bad

I am sure any little info will be helpful as he has no idea how is it going to be.

Thanks and hope to see your replies soon

Whilst you need to satisfy the quoted operational bulletin requirements, after satisfying the officer of your intent to settle in Yukon and after being granted PR & admitted to Canada, you can still move out of Yukon if you want.

Good info chibiks, Thanks

Hope my friend can go ahead with his PR application to Youkon and then move to a differnet province after landing there. He tried to get a employment offer from BC/AB/SK/ON but no luck getting one and the only one he managed to get is from Youkon. Anyway hope he will do good.

Thanks once again, Sans_May2010

Dear Sans_May2010, my best wishes to your friend who's planning to go to Yukon. He is living my dream, as I am very interested in moving there and settling permanently. Can you share how he got his job offer? I am sending my cover letter and resume to different companies based in that territory. Is that how he got the offer? Thank you in advance.

If he is a PR of canada and if no residency restrictions were imposed on his arrival to Canada (which i hope not), he is free to go and live anywhere in canada.

absolutely true..

go and call immigration 1-888-242-2100 and they will reply same.
