All you can do is try - there is no way to know for sure what the chances are that you'll be approved. Has your hubby filed an application to bring you to Canada as a permanent resident? Because, if he has, it's highly unlikely (even being able to show a job offer for Sept 2009) that you will be granted a TRV to come to Canada now. If he hasn't, they're going to wonder why he hasn't - and that will work against you, too. Maybe you could give us a bit more information on whether you ever actually plan to come to Canada to join your hubby?

Yep, a PR visa is the only option available to you to come to Canada and live here with your husband. I know the timeline is long, but be patient. It will work out in the end. As far as the visitor visa - there's a chance they will approve it, but probably not much of one. Whether you want to apply anyway is up to you and if you want to spend the money. One good thing - at least applying you're showing attempts to visit your husband, and that goes towards proof of your genuine relationship, if you ever need that.

Hi Rachel.
U said ur husband had already atached ur file to his....if thats the case once ur husbands sponsorship is approved then ur case will be transfered to New Delhi where furthur processing takes place...in the mean time while ur processing startes in ND, u may get a letter asking for any missing documents....and if ur visa is approved then u have to send ur passport to ND. U have take the medical in india and the results will be send directly to ND
Any corrections in my statement is most welcome....
Thank You

actually...my husband is not yet a PR holder...he has applied on feb 2008 and he attachd mine on jan 2009...recently my hubby attended his PR interview in LA and he was given medicals...the Visa officer told that he was satisfied that our relationship is genuine and immediately asked my hubby to pay d fees and gave medical to me too...
now my hubby has send my medical form thro courier...they wont be tranferring my file to new delhi anymore...so i have to send my medicals to LA...so the request for passport will also be form LA CHC not ND CHC...how do i send my passport to LA?? this is my situation...

Hi Rachal Your husband is not a permanent resident yet, if he has declared you his spouse in his application all your processing will be done along with him, if you do not want to wait and you are trying hard you are going to mess everything up let your husband's application be processed then your applications will be processed too so do not mess things up, when you apply you will apply for a permanent residence why do you keep mentioning for a visitor's visa. Hold your horses and let the immigration people help you this will be faster than the way you have taken.
