I am doing my certificate in restaurant management, which is for 1 1/2 years long.  I spoke to my adviser today and she says that if I wanted to obtain an associates degree instead, I only need to study an extra 1/2 year, equaling 2 years of full-time studies.
Now, if I apply to FSW under NOC0631 with my certificate in hand, but then I decide to go for the associates' degree and continue the extra 1/2 year, can I send in an updated degree to the CIC?  Or that's not permitted.  I figured they still take a pretty long time to process applications, then why not go for the associates degree and send it in once I have it in hand.
Unless, this is not allowed of course.

Thank you and I apologize for being such a bother Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed, really.

CIC will consider only what you have in hand right now, with regard to your qualification and work experience etc.

That will be your initial assessment.

So i suggest get all the relevant things in hand and then see if you qualify and only then apply.
