Hi ,

Will some one by able to clarify , incase of refusal from CIC

1) will they return the entire applicant kit which we sent,  since we would have sent the originals for IELTS (Valid for 2 yrs) and Police clearance certificates ( valid for 1 yr), both the IELTS and PCC documents are very useful while re-applying as these are time consuming documents to prepare while re-applying?

2) what about the initial bank draft ( $1100 CAD), will it be returned or not ?

No, it states very clearly in the document checklist that documents will not be returned.  There is no refund of the application fee; only the RPRF (if you paid that) can be refunded if your application is refused.

The only exception is if your entire package is returned to you because it is incomplete.  Once it is accepted as complete and processing is initiated, there is no refund or return of documents.

since the IELTS results are valid for 2yrs, instead of writing it again, can i apply for additional test results and produce that?  is that acceptable ?  the originals are sitting with the 1st application ?

the scores are less than 2 years old they are still valid, yes, if you can get another copy of the score report.

The OP doesn't require another copy, attach a note to the application that the IELTS result was submitted previously (within 2 years of course)

Yes.  The information is in one of Operational Bulletins.
