CEC or Spousal Sponsorship

Hi all

I can apply under both programs but am now wondering which one is faster and better . I reside in canada so my application will go to Buffalo.

Depends on if you apply for spousal sponsorship inland (Canada) or ask for it to be processed in your home country (outland).  Inland sponsorship will almost certainly be slower than CEC, maybe much slower.  Outland might be around the same but if you do outland, you may be called to interview in your home country.  Also with spousal, you would have to prove your relationship and the merits of your spouse as a sponsor so there are more things that could go wrong there.  With CEC, you either meet the requirements or you don't.
