Hi,

I am preparing my CEC application for around April ~ June 2012.

However, i just checked the status of the applications and it says

some of the CAP has been reached..

I am thinking of applying under 1221 Administrative Officers

as my main job at my office is marketing and administrative manager.

in the CIC total completed application page, it does not have 1221 but

I see 1122 – Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management

has reached the CAP of 500.

What does this mean???

if I apply in April, will I not be considered?

It says the period is July 2011 - June 2012.

Should I wait and send in my application on 1st July 2012?

please let me know

thank you

shyne07 - you are confusing 2 completely different programs -

The CEC class does not have any caps - here is the program information -
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/index.asp

The Federal Skilled Workers program has 2 streams; the cap applies to the Category 1, which is for specific occupations.
