CEC application - NOC clarification

Hi All,

I need some one to help me in quoting NOC code in cec applciation.

Nov 2008 to may 2009 - work permit is showing occupation as "Embedded sys software designer" (Under remarks section has mentioned  my client name)

Jan 2010 to Dec 2010 - work permit is showing occupation as "Embedded sys software designer" (Under remarks section has mentioned  my client name)

Jan 2011 to Dec 2011 - work permit is showing occupation as "Software Developer  - Services" (Under remarks section has mentioned  my client name)

Jan 2012 to till date - work permit is showing occupation as "Software & Comp sys evaluators" (but under remarks section it is mentioned as "Intra company transferee. Occupation: systems testing technician.")

In all the above periods my job is a software testing engineer. Please suggest me which NOC code can i quote in CEC application.

If you are doing the same job since 2008 and now your reference letter should clarify that and mention that the work permit had different designations. However, in all actuality your job duties remained the same and for all those titles you can use: 2173 Software Engineers and Designers

Make sure to check the job description on HRSDC with your job description given by your employer.

Sorry just saw that your current work permit says Systems Testing Technician. So the NOC should be 2283 Systems Testing Technicians.

But again you have to check which of these two NOC job duties matches more closely to your own job duties or rather the job duties mentioned on your most recent employer reference letter.

 Letter till 2011 dec as 2173 duties and from jan 2012 to till date as 2283

As mentioned in the top of this post, some one please review my situation and suggest me the NOC to apply.

some one please clarify on whether can i apply with two NOC codes in my application. NOC 2173 ( this will cover the required 2 years work experience) for my first three work permit duration and NOC 2283 for the current work permit.

Jan 2012 to till date - work permit is showing occupation as "Software & Comp sys evaluators" (but under remarks section it is mentioned as "Intra company transferee.retained status as SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR .")

The thing is since my start(December 2009 till Now) I do system administrator duties only and confused what NOC should I use and not sure why CEC gave occupation as "Embedded sys software designer " in my previous work permit..

Please advise
