Hi! I am just about to submit my CEC application but just got confused with one part.  It says that I need a visa here.  I have a visa when we first got here and it was expired already.  I didn't had it renewed ever since and just got my work permit renewed.  Will my old and expired visa work or do i need to apply for a new one before i can send my CEC application?
Thanks a bunch in advance!

If you have no intention of leaving Canada and returning, then you don't require a new TRV. Your valid work permit is enough to show you have valid status in Canada.

I had a work permit and a visa when my husband and i got here.  He had an open work permit and we didn't left canada since we got here last 2009, our first/entry visa was good for two years then and didn't renewed it since we didn't went out of canada.  Thank you so much for your response  Smiley  But one more thing, with regards to my ielts, i just got my scores back and based on the clb table, i got the fol6wing (see below), I'm just not sure if I did it right, my NOC is type 0...please advise if my score qualify me to apply for the CEC or if i need to retake the ielts again.  Many Thanks!!

I think you should take IELTS again because your NOC code is type 0.... It's need a copy of legal status (in your case, it's work permit). If you wish, you can photocopy the page contain Visa stamp.etc. Good luck
