I found that my case status changed to "Medical results have been received" in the CIC E-client status check. I did my medicals in Arpil. Does it mean my applications is finalised or still some more checks pending.

It just means your medical results were received.

a lot of the times (though not all), when your e-cas changes to "meds have been recieved", it means the application is just about ready to be finalized.  after your e-cas changes, it typically takes a week or two to get the passport request.
