Hello

This is a statement mentioned in the UPDATE LETTER of some applicants, most are LONDON CHC, probably 2007 Simplified.

"As part of the Governement of Canada's Action Plan for faster immgration to reduce the inventory of Federal Cases, your application is part of a small group of files that has been transferred to The Case Processing Pilot - Ottawa to speed up processing of your application"

For those who received this "NEW AND UNLIKE THE GENERIC USUAL LETTER", and was selected, or know anything about it, can you share info and help us analyze the trend in order to identify the SELECTION CRITERIA.

For example, selecting those whom are OLD Applicants but their JOB Experience match "38 Occupation List".

Thanks in advance

HI! We're new here (very first post actually!), we landed on this thread after googling CPPO...
So here we are, UK residents, applied in Sept 07, received a meaningless acknowledgement of receipt plus "do you still want", and then on Feb 27 we got the "CPPO" letter as described above, asking us to send documents within 120 days - we posted everything on March 30. (incidentally a second, identical letter but with a different "OTT number" [?!?] was sent to us a week later-we ignored that and used the earlier one)
After that we don't know. Maybe too early for an AOR of our documents. Our initial office was the infamously backlogged London, so we thought Ottawa was good news, we started dreaming of a landing in Canada for the Autumn...But after reading stuff on this forum we're not so sure anymore.
If we understand correctly the next stage is we receive a medical request (which is basically a conditionnal YES), we send it and HOP, it's done? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

As for the reason for selection in the "small group"Huh NOC is 4141, so not in new list.
Guess it's to help London as they're so bad at it themselves?

Hi, good that you have started this new thread coz i was thinking to start it. Ya as you know that i am one of them as well.
As per my knowledge and info., all those applicants who have received their update letters in Late Feb and in March have got the same letters to send theirs docs to Ottawa. By looks of it, it should be quicker probably like CHC ND. One of the experiences that i had was i sent them case specific query on their email add (provided on letter) and got response within half an hour which is rather unusual. But again it's Pilot Processing Office.
The only confusion here is which checklist to be followed? I suppose as they haven't got any new instructions on website or anywhere so i'll be following London office visa specific instructions.

There is another thread with the same sort of title, so i think we should only use 1.
