i have a friend who is also under the live-in caregiver program. she still has 1 year to go to to finish the 24months required in the program. she is still working with her current employers now but she's thinking of transferring to another employer. can she start applying or processing the papers of changing employers while she's still working with her current employers? what are the requirements now to apply for a change of employer? how long does it take now for the processing of papers? thank you.

She can start looking for a new employer. The new employer needs to file for an LMO. Note the recent changes on job ads (for the employer). Then she can submit for a new work permit. There is a mention of giving enough notice to the employer.
