I am surprised too on the number for 1122 as we all here were expecting upwards of 150-200 applications for the same in first month. Forum members please comment can there be a scenario where they have received more applications but not checked whether the application is complete or not.

I think it must be that they don't count the applications received until they have opened them and checked if they are complete.  The CAP may already be filled just with the applications they haven't opened yet.

Well, in my opinion, there is no way to varify the allocation, as we actually don't know when was the cutting line, moreover, CIC have never claimed that as well.

Hello guys,

I called my credit card company now and I have been told that I haven't been charged yet by CIO. My application ( 3152 noc ) has been received on 7/7/2011. I am strongly believe that CIO just started with the first process and they are checking our applications for "compliteness".
Trust me guys, it will take a few days to see any charge via CC online.
I have applied to COLLEGE of NURSING and i was worried about the postal strike a few weeks ago...I called to CNO and have been told that my credit card have been charged on Wednesday, but my credit card company has approved it by Friday, however, I saw it ( online ) only by Sunday!

GOOD LUCK Smiley

We are so happy 'coz our credit card has been charged. Yay! It was on July 20th. Question though, does it mean that they already reviewed our application or just an indication that they just accepted it? Thanks guys! We are just excited. I guess we are included in the 26 of those applications for NOC 3152 as of July 21.Cheesy Goodluck to us all! Cheers!

Card being charged means that your application has passed its completeness check and I believe you are safely within the cap now.

However, your application has to undergo a full eligibility review at CIO before you make it to the next stage at the visa office. So they haven't really reviewed your application yet other than to just check that it is complete.

Best of luck,
Wayne.

They do completeness check on the day they receive application or very next day.
I applied in January 2011, my application was received at CIO on 24th january and they mailed it back to me on 25th january. As my application failed to pass completeness check.
