Your NOC appears to fill at an average of about 100+ per month. I think you stand a fair chance if you can rush your completed application by the date you suggested. All the best.

No harm trying. In worst case you get your application back but if you do not try, you stand no chance in this cycle and who knows what Immigration will look like after rule changes

Indeed. If you are currently eligible then I advise try your best to get your application in before the cap is reached this year. If you wait until 1st July 2011 you have no idea if 3131 will be on the list (or, if there will even be a list!).

You will see that Pharamacist applications have been coming in at an average of 3.8 per day since 26 June 2010. The cap was at 951 on 1st March 2011, leaving 49 places. So that's just under 13 days making the predicted cap filled by 14th March 2011. Of course there's probably a few in the system.

If you are sending on 7th March are you sending by courier? Any idea how long it will take to get there? IMO you need to be looking at getting there by 12th March or so, to have a realistic chance.

Where are you from ? If Pakistan or India then Courier will take 5/6 days to deliver . If you will send on 7 march then it will reach to CIO on 11/14. If i am not wrong then CAP will be full by max. 11 March.I also advise you check  CIO  update CAP on friday also ( they usually update on friday since last 3 friday).

How  you are going to pay application FEE ? If you will use your Bank Draft then count 10-15 days for encashment . If i am not wrong then CIO will count you on CAP on the Day you payment will be in their account. In this case Credit Card will work fast. As they will charge your CC in 2/5 days.

So ...take your wise decision ..

I strongly believe that CIO count application in CAP after monetary funds clear.

Here let me give you logical reason behind it.

My application was at CIO on 10 Feb.
Bank Draft got encashed on 25 Feb.
Last Cap update on 25 Feb.---> 930
My e-cas updated on 25 Feb.

So, this means that One should count 10-15 days to get included his application in CAP.

As i am having one Backlog file so with the help of old file number i found my e-cas changed on 25 feb.

Also there is one more applicant who is also backlog applicant & found similar condition.

Hmm that's why I said "I thinK"   We can only guess since nobody knows 100% exactly how CIO do it once they get them.

Whichever - he really needs to get his skates on if he wants to get within the cap!

HI everyone,

Iam not new here i applied on 0311 in last april.But i have one of my friend that send his application on 3131 as a pharmacist last week and it expected to arrive 7/3/2011,he is worried about he might not catch the caps.

so could you tell me how long it take it confirm that he is in the caps or not?
Does the file receiving means that he is accepted or they must reviewed before that and how long they reviwe it?
How long does it take between receiving the file and review it and give it the acceptance?
