Hey,

what is the cap or band required for applying for permanent resident? First of all is this test mandatory for a person who has been in canada for past 2 years and working?

One of my friend told me that if you are already in canada and planning to apply for pR, then it is not required. It is only required if a person is coming from a non-english speaking country to an english speaking country. But I have been here for the past 2 years and have been working in canada since then.
