i paid for one of my application fee via the internet. i want to apply again (same application). i am thinking to cancel the pewvious payment and pay again to and get new receipt number. can i do that? or i should still use the same receipt since the application has not been processed yet?

Because I did not write in the envelope "Situation in Iraq" my family in dangerous and life threating enviroment and i have to help asap. they will not pick up my file right away.

I don't think it would make things faster...In my opinion it would just make a mess with their system or something

I agree with Theedge,

I am also from Iraq and didn't wrote "situation in iraq" , don't worry they know about Iraq even if you didnt mention it in your envlope,
cancelling your payment and reaplying will just take more time, so let it goes like this and dont cancel anything,  I sent my application on July and still wainting for the approval letter, it took a lot of time now to process, so if you will cancel it and reaplying will take more than 3 months to approve you as a sponser, just keep it and later on if you see that they passed more than the specified time of processing, send them a letter to explain your situation.
