Why don't they just slap a visa requirement for Canadians with $60 a pop its a pretty good source of revenue.

But then they lose BILLIONS of dollars from Canadian Shoppers,For example Bellingham Washington,The city nearest Vancouver gets 30-40% of its retail sales from Canada

Even if it did pass the proposed fee wouldn't likely affect sales in Bellingham as I suspect most Canadians do not visit there by air or sea but rather drive by car.
