Hi guys,

Can you please assist me with my inquiries?

I am actually on process of applying my work permit here in Canadian Embassy Abu Dhabi. I just want to clarify things as it is actually my first time to apply.

1- I had downloaded the checklist and it shows that it is necessary to show a bank statement? do we have to?
2- Is it okay to send the application by DHL? or it has to be Aramex or mail?
3- Will we have an interview before they grant the visa?

Urgent response will be highly appreciated.

Thank you

I am having the same situation too.
I have forwarded thru Aramex, but i didnt send my passport many cases they might delay the processings and if the passport is stucked at there desk doesnt make a sence for us to stop traveling to home land or any where.

Hi there, thank you so much for your reply, I actually sent my application already last month on the 23rd through Aramex, I am just wondering if they are already starting to process it or still not yet, the reason I asked is, I have a friend here and he told me that his friend got his visa after 1  week, he was called for an interview in Abu Dhabi after 5 days that he submitted his application, and on the 6th day he already got his work permit. Does anyone here can share their experiences please? It will be very helpful for us..I really can't wait for the result. One more question is, do u think by not submitting your high school diploma, will it affect the application? Because I only sent my authenticated college diploma and transcript..please share your ideas with this certain issues..Thank you so much

Hello, yes I have a relative there, but they have nothing to do with my application. I found my employer myself, and I applied for work permit myself.

Work permit applications are straight forward. If you have your LMO with a detailed employment offer from the Canadian employer, Clear history of your education, past and present employment without any criminal records in any country where you have been to since the age of 18, You are good to go!
