Canadian TRV - Validity - Need answer ASAP Pls.

My mother in India was granted a TRV for Canada in April. Her passport is stamped till Octoer 19th (6 months). She has not as yet come to Canada, does this mean that she is allowed to stay in Canada only till October 19th or will she e allowed to stay 6 months form the time she enters Canada physically?

My mother in India was granted a TRV for Canada in April. Her passport is stamped till Octoer 19th (6 months). She has not as yet come to Canada, does this mean that she is allowed to stay in Canada only till October 19th or will she e allowed to stay 6 months form the time she enters Canada physically?

She has to arrive in Canada before 19/10/09.  When she arrives at the Port of Entry is when the decision is made on how long to admit her.
